David K. Eldan is a senior counsel with the firm, practicing in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and transactional documentation. He is admitted to practice in both California and Nevada.
A native of Los Angeles, Dave graduated from Harvard University in 1989 with an B.A. in history, and received his law degree in 1992 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was a member of the Hastings Law Journal. Dave served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas M. Jahnke, in the Superior Court for the State of Alaska, First Judicial District at Ketchikan, from 1993 to 1994, and as a law clerk to the Honorable Edward C. Reed, Jr., in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 1999, Dave practiced law in Reno, primarily on behalf of creditors in bankruptcy cases, with one of Nevada's largest law firms. Since returning to Los Angeles in 1999, he has focused his practiced in the areas of workouts, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and transactional documentation.
