Estate Planning/Trust/Probate

Another important area of the firm's practice consists of estate planning and trust and probate administration. In addition to administering trusts and estates and drafting trust instruments and wills, the attorneys in the Department advise wealthy individuals and corporate fiduciaries on gift and estate taxation, charitable giving, and guardianship and conservatorship matters. The Department also represents individual and institutional clients before the Internal Revenue Service and handles contested trust and probate matters.
