Katie received a B.A. in economics from the University of New Mexico in 1980 and a J.D. from Southwestern University in 1985. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the Real Property section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She serves as a judge pro tem and arbitrator the Los Angeles Superior Court. Katie was born in White Plains, New York in 1959.
