Anthony T. Oliver, Jr. has been an associate, partner and shareholder of the firm since 1963.

Area of Specialization: legal representation of management in labor and employment law matters.

He has represented major corporations in the following areas:

• Representation before the National Labor Relations Board in union election proceedings and unfair labor practice charges.
  
  
• Negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements including the arbitration of grievances under collective bargaining agreements.
  
  
• Arbitration of disputes under voluntary (non-union) arbitration provisions.
  
  
• Representation before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (and similar state agencies such as the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the Illinois Department of Human Rights) in defense of charges of workplace discrimination under various federal and state laws such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
  
  
• Representation before the Federal Wage and Hour Administration of the Department of Labor and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement regarding alleged violations of federal and state wage and hour laws.
  
  
• Providing advise and counsel regarding alleged wrongful termination claims.
  
  
• Providing advise and counsel regarding various federal and state laws regulating the employment relationship such as FMLA and the WARN Act.
