May 14th - Parker Milliken's Environmental Law Seminar is Around the Corner

Parker Milliken's 26th Annual Environmental Law Seminar will take place on Friday, May 14, 2010 (9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) at the Omni Hotel, 251 South Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The response thus far has been outstanding, 140 RSVP's to date, but it is not too late to sign up if you haven't yet done so. The Program Agenda and Registration Form are available here.

For this, our 26th year, we have assembled a virtual “who's who” of top environmental speakers from key governmental agencies as well as from the private sector, including, among others, Kathleen Johnson, Director of Public Affairs, US EPA, Gale Filter, DTSC’s Deputy Director of Enforcement, S. David Freeman, Past Interim General Manager of DWP and former Los Angeles Deputy Mayor for Energy and Environment, Dan Wright, Head of the L.A. County District Attorney’s Environmental Crimes Unit, Erica Martin, US EPA Regional Criminal Enforcement Counsel, Dr. Mary McDaniel of McDaniel Lambert, and Bill Romanelli, V.P. Apco Worldwide. We will all convene on May 14th to discuss with you the latest environmental laws, trends and policies which impact your business.

As the Program Agenda more fully describes the topics we will cover include the most recent developments regarding environmental enforcement at the federal, state and local levels; US EPA’s policies under the Obama Administration; new environmental, “green” programs and policies being initiated here in Los Angeles; insights from experts on how best to deal with the media and impacted communities in high profile environmental and toxic tort matters. We will also have a Parker Milliken Environmental Law Roundtable to address all of your questions and discuss recent developments involving CERLA, CEQA and the remediation of contaminated properties.

To register, simply fax (213-683-6621) or email (saustin@pmcos.com) the registration form as soon as possible, but no later than May 7, or contact my assistant, Sharon Austin, at (213) 683-6655 or saustin@pmcos.com. There is no registration fee!

This program will entitle attorneys to 5 hours of CLE credit.
