Tom attended Whittier College and Miami University, where he received a B.A. in political science in 1976. He earned his J.D. in 1979 from Cleveland State University. Tom has been a public arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers since 1989, is a member of the American and Los Angeles County Bar Associations, and the State Bar of California. He presents seminars on a variety of topics in his area of expertise.
