William E. Weinberger joined the firm as a shareholder in 2004.

Area of specialization: complex business and real estate litigation; employment litigation.

He has represented major corporations and public entities, as well as mid-sized companies and entrepreneurs in business, real estate and employment cases involving:

• individual, representative and class claims brought under the California Unfair Competition Law (Bus. & Prof. Code  17200),
  
  
• contract and indemnity claims,
  
  
• breach of contract claims involving sales of business,
  
  
• Uniform Trade Secrets Act claims,
  
  
• land use and eminent domain matters,
  
  
• violations of state and federal employment and discrimination laws (race, sex, sexual orientation, age and disability).

Stanford Law School - '81 - J.D. He served as Associate Editor of the Stanford Law Review.

Mr. Weinberger was a member of the California Law Revision Commission from 2002 to 2009, and was chair of the Commission from 2004 to 2005.
